Travelling and Camping - reusable storage pouches

Going camping with little kids can be heaps of fun. There’s always plenty of room for them to run around in the great outdoors, fostering an early appreciation of our beautiful natural environment. But one of the most difficult aspects of camping, and travelling in general, is keeping food fresh. With Sinchies reusable food pouches, camping and travelling are worry-free.

No fridge, no worries

When you go camping and travelling, you’re often without a means to keep food cold for long periods of time. And instead of opting to eat processed food out of cans and tins the whole trip, many people still want to be able to give their kids healthy food like fruit, vegetables and yoghurt. It’s a great idea to take an esky with ice when camping (you can use the Sinchies 1L pouches to make ice bricks and once they've defrosted you have nice cold water),  or a cooler bag with frozen blocks when travelling, so you can keep any perishables as cool as possible. But if you go on a long bushwalk or hike, how do you keep food cool? Simply put some cut up fruit in a Sinchies reusable sandwich bag or yogurt in a Sinchies spout pouch and into the cool box for a little while before you go. If you’re worried about the food getting too warm on your trip, you can fill another Sinchies with ice or have one already frozen as an ice brick and strap them together with some rubber bands. It’s like a mini mobile-fridge!

Sinchies are not just for food

No one wants to take their whole pantry with them when they go camping or travelling—it’s about minimising what you pack to save space in your car, and avoiding pesky excess baggage if you’re flying. But, like many of us on a budget, if you buy your groceries in bulk to save money, this can be troublesome when travelling or camping. You can’t really take a 3 litre container of washing liquid, and it’s annoying to have to take big bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The good news is you don’t have to! Sinchies reusable pouches are not just for food, they can be used for just about anything. So, to save space when travelling, why not use Sinchies to take small amounts of necessary household products, such as:
  • washing up powder or liquid
  • shampoo and conditioner
  • baby bath wash
  • soap or hand wash
  • medication
  • sunscreen
  • insect repellent

Sinchies are resealable – no mess, no fuss

How many times have you expertly packed a suitcase or bag when going camping or travelling, only to arrive at your destination and discover—to your horror—that something has leaked into the rest of your bag? And it’s always the stickiest thing, isn’t it? Sinchies not only saves you the hassle of taking entire bottles of essential toiletries and household products with you when you go on holidays, but it prevents many nasty spills. No need to double-bag your shampoo and conditioner bottles with plastic bags as insurance, just pop a small amount in a Sinchies! They’re resealable and are designed not to leak or split in your bag. Now, where did I put the car keys…?
